What Chapters Do
AIBS Chapters connect members within each state and territory, ensuring strong representation and communication between practitioners, regulators, and the AIBS National Office.
Each Chapter Committee is elected every three years to represent members, raise local issues, and guide the organisation’s policy and advocacy at both state and national levels.
Working in partnership with the AIBS National Board, Chapter Committees:
- Represent members within their jurisdiction.
- Provide insight and advocate on local regulatory and legislative issues.
- Help organise local events, conferences, and training opportunities.
- Support member engagement and professional growth.
- Contribute to national policy development and reform.
Together, they help ensure a consistent national approach while addressing local needs and priorities.
