Dr Greg Drummond


Dr Greg Drummond commenced his career as a paramedic before becoming a firefighter. He is now an experienced senior officer and executive, having served with two of Australia's largest fire and emergency services. Dr Drummond is an adjunct professor at the University of New South Wales iCinema Research Centre and previously served on the Fire Safety Research Institute's Wildland-Urban-Interface expert advisory panel. He is the lead author of the textbook "A Handbook of Wildfire Engineering" as well as the recently published AFAC Australian National Operational Guidance on Decision-making in Incident and Emergency Management. Having written the original Bushfire Protection and Design (BPAD Level 1) accreditation course Dr Drummond has more than forty publications across the fields of judgement, decision-making, and fire engineering.
