Andrew is the Executive Director for the Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels Ltd (ACRS). Prior to this appointment he has worked as a structural consulting engineer, project manager based in Sydney Region.
Andrew has a long history with the Australian/New Zealand construction industry working as an Applied Researcher, Senior Project Manager, Consulting Engineer and Technical expert. He has worked closely with industry partners addressing issues in design methods and implementing quality procedures for products and systems.
Andrew has served and continues to serve on a number and technical committees for New Zealand and Australian Standards, NATA and other certifying authorities. He sits on the Mechanical Testing Accreditation Advisory Committee; is a Technical Assessor for the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and is a member of Standards Australian on the BD84 Code Committee for reinforcing steels’ and for P304 standards committee for structural steels for NZ.
