David has worked in the Australian steel industry for over 30 years, across a broad range of structural design, product development and market facing roles, since graduating with a B.Eng (Structural/Civil - Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
David’s current role with InfraBuild is Manager Sustainability & Insight, where his main focus is on engaging with the entire construction and infrastructure market to help develop & deliver compliant and sustainable steel solutions for our customer’s projects.
Key to this role is delivering a real, transparent and demonstrable reduction in the embodied carbon of InfraBuild’s products that go into the built environment, by guiding InfraBuild to become a low emission, net zero steel maker by 2030, in line with InfraBuild’s CN30.
