Allan Harriman is a fire safety engineer and building regulation consultant with over 40 years of industry experience. He founded Fire Safety Engineering Pty Ltd and BCA Logic, later acquired by Jensen Hughes, where he provided expert consultancy for complex regulatory and litigation matters.

Allan is widely recognised for his technical expertise in building defects, compliance disputes and performance-based solutions. A long-time industry mentor and educator, he has contributed extensively to improving safety and regulatory outcomes across the sector.

In 2015, Allan was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the building and construction industry through professional associations.
Allan also Chairs the AIBS Technical Specialist Advisory Group and Fire Safety Specialist Advisory Group.
