Matthew Dewse began his building surveying career straight from school, working across Western Australia, local government and the Northern Territory. This early experience gave him a strong foundation in statutory administration and regulatory compliance across diverse jurisdictions.

After time spent working in the natural environment, including roles in forestry and Parks and Wildlife, Matthew returned to private practice with a broadened perspective on the intersection between land use, environmental systems, and the built environment.

A member of the AIBS Tasmania Chapter Committee since 2022, he is committed to supporting the Professional Standards Scheme and driving national consistency in the profession.
