About this Event

Each year, AIBS conduct a Chapter Member Forum. This initiative was introduced in order to make member events more accessible to the highest number of members from each chapter, which is why they are being conducted in conjunction with the Victoria Chapter Professional Development Day.  It is also an opportunity for the AIBS Board and management to interact directly with members providing information on AIBS activities and direction, and also taking feedback, suggestions and comments from members. 

The forums follow a structured agenda commencing with an operational update from the AIBS CEO, followed by an open forum that will also include the Board Director and senior AIBS staff. Members will also be able to contribute topics to the open forum by submitting to AIBS prior to the forum, or if time allows, from the floor. 

These member forums will be conducted by way of a breakfast meeting and are open to all AIBS members, regardless of whether they are attending the Victoria Chapter Professional Development Day or not.  There is no cost for members to attend, however all members must register to attend.  Please note that this registration is separate to the Professional Development Day registration.

The forum will commence at 9:30am with breakfast and will conclude at 10:00am. 
Members are encouraged to submit items for discussion at the forum and this can be done during the registration process to the event, or via email to [email protected]. Please note that all questions discussed at the forum will be identified with the member who has put the item forward. This will enable further explanation of the item by the contributor if required.
