Review of Guidelines Made Under the Building Act 1975 - QLD

Following the commencement of the Building Regulation 2021 on 1 September 2021, the Department of Energy and Public Works are inviting comments on draft guidelines to be made under the Building Act 1975.

The second set of guidelines that have been reviewed and amended are as follows:  
 
• Guideline for the construction of buildings in flood hazard areas
• Pool safety inspector guideline
• Guidelines for pool owners and property agents 
• Local government swimming pool safety guideline
 
The guidelines and the relevant industry feedback forms can be found below.
