VBA Code of Conduct for Building Surveyors - VIC

AIBS have received communication from the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), confirming the approval of a Code of Conduct for Building Surveyors (Code).  Members may have already received communication directly from the VBA, however, please see below, copy of the letter to AIBS from Andrew Cialini, State Building Surveyor.  

All registered building surveyors in Victoria will be required to comply with the Code which will commence 1 January 2021. 

Members will recall that AIBS made a submission on this Code and a copy of this can be found in the members area of our website. 

We encourage members to familiarise themselves with the Code and to understand the compliance obligations.  Further information can be found on the VBA website.
