With the introduction of the ePlanning portal throughout South Australia, AIBS is pleased to provide a comprehensive training event for building surveyors on all things ePlanning 

This training event will provide two distinct parts, one on the ePlanning system and the other on the new inspection requirements under the PDI Act.  

Part 1 - ePlanning Portal

Attendees will be provided with a comprehensive detail on the ePlanning Portal and how as a building surveyor, will affect you.

Part 2 - Inspection Skills Session – The new inspection requirements under the PDI Act

The commencement of the PDI Act brings with it new inspection requirements for building surveyors.  In this session, all building safety and inspection powers, functions and duties as well as enforcement strategies for council building surveyors and risk management mechanisms for building certifiers will be explored in detail.

The new abilities for councils to require inspections before the granting of a certificate of occupancy and many new expiation fees for building offences, as well as stricter requirements for swimming pool safety will be covered in this not to be missed training event delivered by Victoria Shute from KelledyJones Lawyers.  

Technical Updates 
Jeremy Turner will discuss the changes you need to know about now and what's on the horizon that you should look out for in 2021.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds for registrations should be provided in writing to [email protected] as outlined below and calculated from the first day of training:
 More than 30 days - Full refund
 Between 7 and 30 days - 50% refund
 Less than 7 days - No refund

Participants may transfer their registration to another training session up to one (1) working day prior to the commencement of the training day without loss of funds.

Payment Policy: Payment is required PRIOR to attending the event.
  • All registrations are confirmed upon completion of registration and issue of an invoice
  • Payment terms on all invoices are the earlier of 14 days from the date of invoice, or prior to the first day of the event (where registration is completed and invoice issued less than 14 days from the first day of the event).
