Events and Training
AIBS offers a wide range of training across Australia on a number of topics, as well as a full program of conferences and other events throughout the year.
AIBS holds National training, Chapter-based training and also SA Supplementary training for Solar Photovoltaic Panel Installers.
AIBS is firmly committed to developing consistent high quality and skills building training that is professionally delivered to our members. National training is focused on those topics that affect Building Surveyors across Australia.
Chapter-based training is primarily focussed on training and updating members on relevant matters in each State. Training needs are identified by the Chapter Executive Committee in each Chapter for their jurisdictions then are co-ordinated and delivered through the AIBS Office.
SA Supplementary Training for Solar Photovoltaic Panel Installers
This training addressing the requirements resulting from changes made to Schedule 3 of the Development Regulations 2008 to identify the criteria that allow the installation of solar photovoltaic panels without the need to obtain a Development Approval. Solar Photovoltaic Panel Installation training is held as necessary, so please contact us to express your interest in this training.

In addition to training, AIBS runs a full program of state conferences. Each provides an opportunity to meet, learn and debate with like-minded professionals from your industry.
